Badami Gosht (Beef With Almonds) is a delicious Pakistani recipe served as a Curries.


  • Beef (With Bone) 1 kg
  • Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
  • Chopped Garlic 5-6
  • Black Cardamoms Seeds 1 tsp
  • Finely Chopped Onion 1 tsp
  • Finely Chopped Ginger 1 inch piece
  • Yogurt ¼ cup
  • Saffron 1 pinch
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
  • Almond Paste ½ cup
  • Desiccated Coconut 4-5 tbsp
  • Whole Red Chili 2-3
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Almonds for garnish

Recipe of Badami Gosht

  1. Take a cooking pan add ½ cup of oil, heat the oil add 2-3 cinnamon sticks, 1 tsp of black cardamoms seeds, when its popping add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 inch piece of finely chopped  ginger 5-6 garlic cloves finely chopped, fry.
  2. Then add 1kg of beef (with bone), 3-4 minutes roasted add as required water to tender the beef when the beef is almost tender add ¼ cup of yogurt, 1 pinch of saffron , 1 tbsp of red chili powder , mix it well.
  3. Now add ½ cup of almond paste, 2-3 whole red chilies cook on a low flame for 5 minutes then add 4-5 tbsp of desiccated coconut cook 5-6 minutes, when the gravy is thick take it out in a serving bowl garnish with almonds and serve it.
